Warranty, Terms & Conditions
Our one-year guarantee and the terms that apply to every estimate and job.
One-year guarantee
- Bright Ideas Electrical Solutions guarantees its work against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the electrical final inspection or completion of the work, whichever is later.
- Failures caused by misuse, vandalism, fire, damage or natural causes are not covered.
- There is no warranty on motion sensors, photocell devices, owner-supplied fixtures or appliances.
- The warranty is void if anyone other than Bright Ideas works on the electrical system during the one-year period.
Terms & conditions
- Estimated prices are valid for three months from the bid date, barring code changes or increases in copper and steel prices.
- Owner-supplied fixtures and appliances must arrive complete with bulbs and cords at installation or trim-out.
- Return trips caused by framing issues or missing customer-supplied items, including plumbing and HVAC items, incur additional charges. Return trips in general may also carry fees.
- Bright Ideas is not responsible for patching or painting surfaces, existing deficiencies or code violations.
- Payment is due within 30 days. Late invoices accrue 1.8% interest per month.
- Credit card payments carry a 3.5% surcharge per transaction.
- Signing an estimate authorizes the work and commits the customer to payment. If payment is not received, the customer agrees to pay any legal or collection fees incurred to recover the money owed.
